Best News Ever!!!

Cooper had a chest CT,  echo, bone scan and MRI on Monday January 9th.  On January 10th we met with his oncologist and found out his scans are clear.  He is cancer free!!!!  He has to have scans every 3 months for 3 years and then every 6 months for 2 more years.  This coming Tuesday January 17th he will have surgery to take out his central line.  He is very excited!!!  He was able to go to preschool for the first time on Wednesday and had a blast.  His good little friend Wyatt had shaved his head and couldn't wait to include him.  He learned the letter L and enjoyed playtime most of all.

Recovery for Cycle 14

Cooper has been recovering better than we thought.  Christmas Eve he had a blast with family and played probably a little bit too hard because Christmas morning we had a hard time waking him up and getting him excited for presents.  Above pictures are Christmas Eve with cousins.  Below are Christmas morning.

Cooper had a platelet transfusion on December 29th and again January 2nd.   So far no blood transfusions.  His white count hit zero and now it is heading in the right direction.  January 5th he will have another blood draw and we will know more.
