Relay for Life!

This was Cooper's first year participating in Relay for Life.  It was really fun.  They have great speakers.  They also had lots of booths, one selling cancer bracelets (color coded for each cancer).  Cooper's colors are gold (childhood cancer) and blue (sarcoma).  We had a good time.

4th of July Tenley Foundation Parade

The Tenley Foundation decided to decorate a float for the 4th of July parade in Inkom.  We had fun and so did all of the sweet cancer kids and their siblings.

Mikes Extra Mile!!!!

Mike Evans, (Stephanie Shutes) older brother, ran across Idaho in June 2012 and he donated what he made to the Tenley Foundation.  The Tenley Foundation is a foundation set up to help kids diagnosed with cancer, and their families, in Idaho.  It is named after one of our dear friends Tenley Curtis.  Mike averaged about 50 miles a day and went a total of 453 miles.  I was able to join him for a day and ran my first 50 miler.  We love you Mike!  Thanks for all of your time pounding the pavement.  Here are some pictures!

3 Month Scans Are Clear!!!!!

On April 20th 2012 Cooper went for his first 3 month scans and everything is clear and good.  He is also growing well in both height and weight.

He is happy and getting back to normal kid life.  He is graduating from preschool this coming week.  We are so excited for him.  He is all registered for kindergarten and he is excited to ride the bus.  His hair is growing like crazy and he had his first haircut last night.  Things are good!  Life is good!

Here are some pictures of our Cooper losing his first 2 teeth, Easter, our 3 month scan trip, swinging at grandma and grandpa's house, petting Korbie's new guinea pig,  ringing the Liberty Bell to start the Law Day Run and his preschool field trip.

Disney World Wish Trip

Our Disney World Wish Trip was amazing!!!!  It was a perfect trip to celebrate Cooper fighting so hard to be cancer free.   We stayed at Give Kids The World and it was incredible.  There are many things to do right there besides going to all of the theme parks close by.  We stayed in a huge village of cartoon looking twin homes.  There is a Candy Land park, princess and pirates parties, horse back riding, a huge swimming pool, theater, arcade, golf, basketball, gingerbread restaurant, a castle where all wish kids put a star on the ceiling, ice cream parlor, and many more things.

We were able to go to Hollywood Studios, Universal, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Sea World, Epcot Center, and the beach.  It was the perfect vacation.  Here are lots of pictures.
